Engineers Week in the Infant Classroom

By March 5, 2026No Comments

Our Junior and Senior Infants tested their build and design skills this week with the marshmallow tower challenge. Each pupil constructed a tower using only marshmallows and spaghetti. We discovered through trial and error the importance of strong foundations.
As part of Engineers Week we also read the book entitled The Book with a Hole by Hervé Tullet, using the book as inspiration we created our own pictures from a page with a hole! Ms Brennan was very impressed with the brilliant drawings the children created around the hole in the page.
