Our School Ethos

Our school promotes a Catholic ethos, and while we warmly welcome children of all faiths and beliefs and none, we take great pride in promoting our Catholic ethos to the full.

Our school serves a community that is Catholic in religion and in tradition. Religion plays a central role in the life of our school. The school supports the family and parish in passing on the Catholic faith to the children. The ethos of the school is one which embraces all Christian Values.

Children are prepared for the Sacraments and take an active part in the Parish Masses and Church activities.

Glinsk NS aims to promote Catholic ethos and values.

Our school aims to promote the full and harmonious development of all aspects of the pupil: intellectual, physical, cultural, moral and spiritual, including a living relationship with God and with other people. The school models and promotes a philosophy of life inspired by belief in God and in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our school provides religious education for our pupils in accordance with the doctrines, practices and tradition of the Roman Catholic Church and promotes the formation of the pupils in the Catholic Faith.
