All pupils and staff celebrated World Book Day in March. It was a great opportunity to dress up as our favourite book characters and it’s always amazing how creative pupils’ costumes are with many great home-made ideas and props. All classes enjoyed paired reading with pupils from other classes and other literacy activities during the day including World Book Day quizzes, making bookmarks and designing book covers. All pupils received World Book tokens to use in participating book shops.
