Space Week

We learned lots during Space Week. The first man on the moon was Neil Armstrong. He went with Buzz Aldrin. This is how the planets go in order from the sun… Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus & Pluto. A pea is the size of Earth and a football would be the size of the sun! The sun is 39 million miles from Earth and it is a star. Uranus and Jupiter are made of gas. Saturn has rings around it. We made our own rockets from paper and cardboard. We made another rocket using baking powder and vinegar and it flew higher than the school!
