Space Week 2016

During Space Week, we learned all about our solar system, the different planets and even made our own rockets. Pupils also enjoyed a solar system scavenger hunt around the school looking for answers to clues about the solar system. We launched a great homemade rocket made using a bottle, 4 colours taped to the bottle as launch pads. We used vinegar and bread soda as the fuel and the result was great as it flew higher that the school! We tried to record it on the ipad but it launched too quick! We even learned a song called “The Solar System!”
