Playground Fairy Garden

The Parents Association have been very busy since our return to school with plans for a fairy garden area for pupils to enjoy. They have created a very imaginative space with planted shrubs, some low colourful picket fencing, a meandering stone path, beautiful wall paintings, bird houses, a bug hotel and a lovely bench. Pupils in all classrooms were involved in painting fairyhouses and got to plant daffodil bulbs in the wildflower area that we look forward to flowering in spring. Many, many people were involved and helped out in different ways in creating this space which which is so inviting due to all the bright colours. Take a look at some photos of the area below.

In addition to this project, the Parents Assocation bought 2 colourful picnic benches, a large outdoor Connect 4, giant Jenga blocks and table top outdoor games for the picnic tables which include Ludo, draughts, chess and snakes & ladders for us to use during playtime. Thank you to our very supportive Parents Assocation for all their great work.
