Pupils enjoyed dressing up for Halloween with such a great variety of costumes and many, many creative homemade costumes with characters from the Addams family to the vikings and a few escapees too! We were lucky to have a Garda on duty to keep law & order about the place on the day. All classes played some Halloween games in the hall while eating apples and traditional báirín breac in the hope of finding the ring.
Musical statues seemed to be very popular with all the classes with great renditions of Zoombie by the Cranberries and Oh my Johnny by Chasing Abbey as they formed a long conga line. The Parents Association kindly organised a raffle with Halloween prizes for each classroom. The foggy morning added to the spookiness and made a great backdrop for some photos.
