Junior and Senior Infants together with 1st Class enjoyed a wonderfully educational visit to the Fire Station recently. We were greeted on arrival by Pat & Fergal who gave us a full tour of the station. The children got to sit in the Fire Truck, try on the protective masks and got to see the office where all the emergency calls come through. Each child got a turn to use the powerful water hose and we were all amazed at how high the water could reach. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit and left with a safety pack and lots of admiration for the brilliant job our Fire Service does in keeping our communities safe.
