National Fitness Day took place on Friday 29th September as part of European Week of Sport with all pupils taking part with the emphasis on fun, involvement and Take on the Teacher Challenge! All the infants took penalties on county player Ms. Kenny!
Pupils from 6th class took on Ms. Nolan in some basketball ball handling drills! After this all pupils from 1st – 6th class picked mixed class teams for basketball matches with Ms. Quinn on one team and Ms. Nolan on the other. We’re not sure whether the teachers of the pupils won the Take on the Teacher Challenge but all had fun! Take a look at some photos from the day below.
