As part of the Amber Flag initiative, on the 2nd of May, we held our wellbeing day in our school. The pupils were asked to leave their schoolbags at home and were encouraged to wear comfortable clothes. A healthy brunch buffet was arranged for the pupils in the morning. The pupils then got to participate in a range of indoor and outdoor activities including football, art, music, yoga, board-games and outdoor playground games. The weather was beautiful and all pupils left happy.
Our Gratitude Journals
Our 2nd goal for the Amber Flag initiative this year was to complete a 30 day gratitude challenge. Each pupil received a booklet where they could draw or write what they were grateful for. Time was spent each day on this. Both pupils and staff really enjoyed completing their challenge!
