Congratulations to 2nd class pupils who received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion on Saturday 27th of April in St. Mary’s Church, Kilbegnet. Thank you sincerely to Ms. Coyle for all her work in preparing the class to receive the sacrament, to Fr. Morris for visiting the class as part of preparations and celebrating a very meaningful and special mass. We are very grateful to the Parents Association of Creggs N.S. for their hospitality and lovely refreshments served after mass in St. Mary’s Hall.

Congratulations to 6th class pupils who recevied the Sacrament of Confirmation on Wednesday the 1st of May in St. Croan’s Church, Ballymoe. Sincere thanks to Ms. Smyth for preparing the class so well for this sacrament. Bishop Kevin Doran confirmed the pupils from Glinsk N.S., Creggs N.S, Kilcroan N.S., St. Bride’s N.S. and was assisted by Fr. Dónal Morris, Fr. Julian Lupot & Fr. Pat O’Toole. Bishop Doran took great time to ask each pupil about their chosen saints names and why it was so important to them as they were confirmed. Thank you to our Parents Association who made beautiful prayer cards for all pupils in 2nd class & 6th class to remember their special day.
