Wellbeing Day 2025

The school wellbeing committee held our annual wellbeing day on Wednesday 19th of February. Pupils left their school bags at home for the day and were delighted to have a non-uniform day. There were a variety of activities during the day for all classes which included making friendship bracelets, playing games and board games, a whole school collective art activity, yoga, playground games and sensory play in the hall. Pupils enjoyed the different variety and in particular making friendship bracelets and using the sensory equipment. It’s lovely to see, many of the pupils still wearing their friendship bracelet since the day.

Pupils kicked off their shoes and had lots of choice with all the equipment in the hall which included the trampoline, being rolled up in the weighted blanket, using the peanut, the wobble board, sand play, placing rings on cones while balancing on a low level beam and using the tactile sensory discs. All pupils were offered a great range of healthy snacks to choose from for morning break before their hot lunch later in the day. Take a look at some photos from the day below.
