Showcase Day

�”Car Café”☕

On the 7th of January we were just back from the Christmas Holidays, Ms. Roughneen, our teacher old us we were participating in a class project called the “Junior Entrepreneur Programme”. (A.K.A J.E.P. for short.) That weekend when we went home our homework was to think up of some ideas that we could use to make a small business and could become entrepreneurs. So then we all came in with our ideas and a few weeks later some entrepreneurs called John Murphy, Audrey Hession and Sarah Meehan were the dragon sand they picked the idea The Car cafe. A few weeks later we were split into teams. There was 5 teams. They were the Finance, Marketing, Sales, Story-Telling and Design and Production teams. We all had all had a lot of work to do for the Car Wash. The day finally came. It was time to wash cars!! There was two shifts. Everyone washed some cars and everyone got a go in the cafe. After the day was almost over, we got hot- chocolate!! Yum Yum! When the car wash was over, the finance team were called into Mrs. Brennan’s room to count all the money. But I can’t tell you how much we got because that’s confidential. We all got €10 and €50 went to daffodil day,€50 went to the school and we are using the rest to go on a school trip.
