Seán Corrigan from Irish Water visited the school to talk to pupils about water quality as part of their Lego Leagues – Hydrodynamics project. Seán had water samples from water sources that are poor in quality and talked about the upgrading works underway to improve water quality. He also had lots of other practical experiments for the pupils to work so they could see how a filtration system works.
We talked about water saving ideas and all pupils got a timer for the shower so that we are more conscience of conserving water.
