This year’s Hour of Code was based on Minecraft where pupils had to help Steve navigate through his world using coding blocks. Pupils also used the Star-wars BB8 coding hour progressing through the levels with ease and in less than an hour.

We used the Box Island – Coding Adventure app on the i-pad and pupils were designing and building houses etc – future engineers! Next we moved onto creating our own Google logos which we animated, changed colour, created speech bubbles on the different letters using Scratch programming which pupils really enjoyed!
