Our new Junior Infants have been settling into their new surroundings with ease helped by our wonderful Senior Infants. We have been enjoying playing in the home corner and learning about different homes and houses across the world. We have been exploring different animal habitats and learnings lots about squirrels and hedgehogs and their experiences during autumn. Inspired by Julia Donaldson’s The Scarecrow’s Wedding, we developed our mathematical skills to create beautiful patterns on our scarecrows’ clothes using crayon and water colours.
