On the 19th May members of our Green school Committee traveled to Galway to attend the An Táisce Green Schools Award Ceremony in the Radisson Hotel. We are delighted to have achieved our first Green Flag for Litter and Waste.

There are many more Green Flags which we will continue to work towards including energy, water & global citizenship etc.

On Friday 17th June, Mr. John Murphy presented our Green Schools certificate to members of the Green Schools Committee before raising our Green Flag outside. We are delighted to fly the Green Flag alongside our J.E.P. flag and Digital school of Distinction.

We also had time to play a game of giant snakes & ladders based on the theme of travel before enjoying our lovely lunch!
