On Monday 25th of April, the 5th and 6th classes went to Croke Park to the eir junior spider awards. We were shortlisted in the best group project for our school blog. Sadly we didn’t get an award. The 5th and 6th that went were Aoibhe,Ava(me),Ciara, Éimear, Gabrielle, Tegan, Daniel and Paul.
We took a small bus to Dublin with Niel as our driver, Ms Roughneen and Mrs Brennan. We arrived at Croke Park at 10:20, with 40 minutes to spare.
At 11:00, we got up to the interactive activity area. There were people doing circus tricks. There was a photo booth, face painting and a funny picture competition. The award ceremony started at 1:00 and when it was over, we headed home. On the way home we went to Applegreen. we made it home at 6:30, an hour early than expected. It was a great day out and I really enjoyed it.
