Every Thursday in school we have a debate and last Thursday it was on eating  animals is cruel. There were two teams. The team for eating animas is cruel was Aisling, Morgan, Daniel and Ruairi. The Team that thought eating animals is not cruel was Paul,  David,  Nicole and Darren.

Everybody on the teams got to read out a speech that lasted thirty seconds to a minute.  After all teams read their speeches, the rest of the room which  was third and fourth got to ask a lot of questions to the team of their choice. This went on for quite a while and a lot of good questions were asked. After it all we had a vote and in the end the team for eating animals is NOT cruel won.
