On Saturday the 27th of February, the Glinsk N.S. quiz team of Sarah Jane, Tegan, Paul and Daniel went to Tullamore for an All-Ireland quiz  final. We were representing Glenamaddy Credit Union in the CUDA (Credit Union Development Association) final. We went to Tullamore on a bus that left the school at 9:00 a.m. We had to get up quite early on a Saturday morning for this quiz! When we finally got to Tullamore, we parked outside the hotel till everyone got off. We walked in and we got drinks and tea or coffee for the adults. After a while, we went into the ballroom where the quiz was going to be held but before we went into the room, our principal Mrs. Nolan gave us some advise . There was a big screen showing all the quiz  teams participating and the number of the table. We were quiz team NO.15. On all the tables were four pens, a cap and our answer sheet. When everyone was seated and ready to be quite, a woman gave a speech about CUDA. Then we finally started the quiz. We didn’t win but we did our selves proud. We all got a goodie bag with lots of nik- naks. After the quiz Ms. Rouhgneen congratulated us and so did Mrs. Nolan. Mrs. Nolan gave us  20 euro to spend in a shop on the way home to Glinsk. When We got home, we all a bit tired.
