Our annual Christmas concert took place on Friday 14th of December rehearsals over the past number of weeks. The night began with some music on tin whistle by pupils from 1st – 6th class, directed by music teacher Orla McAtavie. Then pupils sang A Million Dreams from The Greatest Showman.
The following plays were staged to a full house & most attentive and appreciative audience.
- A Miracle in Town by Junior & Senior Infants
- The Inn Spectors by 1st, 2nd & 3rd classes
- The Christmas Stars by 4th, 5th & 6th classes
The Parents Associations work on the night was very much appreciated as they welcomed all with a concert programme, organised the raffle, provided refreshments and ensured a special visitor on hand brought a treat for all children. There was great excitement when Santa arrived and some children took the opportunity to drop him a few reminders for Christmas Eve! Sincere thanks to all who supported the concert, sponsored generous raffle prizes making it a very enjoyable & successful night. Seán Browne live streamed the concert to a classroom to cater for the crowd and recorded it, with Des Joyce overseeing sound on the night.
