Our annual Christmas play performanaces took place on Thursday 11th & Friday 12th of December to packed audiences that were full of support for all the pupils talent on stage. After weeks of rehearsing, the pupils took their chance to shine on stage from acting, to singing, solo singing and playing and playing a selction of tunes on tinwhsitle.

The following plays were performed:

  • Junior and senior infants – Let it Snow
  • 1st & 2nd class – Charlie & the Chocolate Factory
  • 3rd & 4th class – Santa and the Beanstalk
  • 5th & 6th class – The Very First Christmas

The 5th & 6th class play was written by 6th class pupil Nataliia which was a great achievement and performed so beautifully by her and all her classmates and reminded us all of the true meaning of Christmas. Thank you to the wonderful Parents Association who put a lot of work into preparations for the concerts over the two days. They organised the raffle with many fantastic hampers, served refreshments, helped with parking cars and ensuring the smooth flow of people into the school hall. This year they recorded the performances on a recently purchased video camera from previous fundraising and this camera will be hopefully used for other projects in the school such as the Fís Film project.

Sincere thanks to all who sponsorsed raffle prizes, helped with costumes, props and supported in any way that contributed to very successful concert performances. Congratulations to the stars of the show, all pupils in all classes on your wonderful performances which everyone was very proud of.
