All classes took part in Maths Week Ireland which runs annually to promote positive attitudes towards maths, highlighinh its importance in daily life and make it more engaging for all ages through fun educational activities. Class completed different activities througout the week inlcuding maths trails with infants using nature to create 2D shapes and 1st and 2nd working in small groups to count and identify maths in the school grounds. All classes too part in the Maths week online quizes and the ever popular maths target boards with a different target board daily. Take a look at some photos from the week below.
