On May 17th, 1st to 5th classes class went to Dublin to the Bord Gáis Theatre for the Student Theatre Awards. We were shortlisted in the Best Supporting Female category for Gabrielle’s performance as Judge Grumps in Straw & Order. We got a bus up to Dublin and we watched The Nut Job, Harry Potter and Open Season 3 on the way. It was a long trip. When we got there we had to get tags to put around our necks. Then we walked the red carpet in to get a whole group picture taken. We were brought into a massive room. The stage was huge. The whole room fascinated us! We had a great host who was Eoin Mc Dermott from 2F.M. and The Voice of Ireland. He was so funny. He could do the real splits! After the band THE STRYPES from Cavan came on and performend three songs. Then on the way home we went to Apple Green and we had something to eat.
