Our annual sports day took place on Tuesday 11th of June. Pupils in the senior room helped ensure younger classes were on the starting line and ready for their race. We started off with the obstacle course and pupils had to balance a bean bag on their heads, jump hurdles, make their way under a parachute as they navigated their way around the track.
Pupils took part in different length running races and the novelty races including the wheel-barrow race, the egg & spoon, the three legged, the teddy bear race and the sack races proved as popular as ever.
The senior room took part in the first “poc fada” competition with pupils having ambitions about how far they would hit the sliotar but it proved a little more challenging than it seemed! Well done to all pupils for sporting efforts on the day. Take a look at more photos from the day below.
