Robotics

Today at school we got into groups because there was a man coming to show us how to make ROBOTS, with Lego and they would actually move! The mans name was Colman. When we got in, we had to leave our school bags in the cloakroom. Then we all sat down at our desks and when everyone came in he started to explain how the gears and motors work. Then that’s when we started to make the robots. It was Daniel and I in one group. We decided to make it look like a dune-buggy. So we did that and I think we did pretty good at that. Then we got the laptops and started programming the robot. Me and Daniel called ours “  Dune Buggy Bros” and “ D Double B” for short. Then we could the hill climb. That was really fun. We  came fourth and Éanna, Iarlaith and Seán’s Robot won.
