Reel Life Science @Home

Reel Life Science are challenging pupils to make a science video at home. This is similar to the Reel Life Science competition that pupils worked on at school early in the school year. Reel Life Sciece @ Home videos should be no longer than one minute. They can be live action or can be animated and can be recorded on a phone, a tablet or a camera.

The closing date for entries is Friday 29th of May. Your video can be about ay science or STEM [Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths] topic and Reel Life Science have suggested 8 themes to give you ideas:

These are the 8 themes:

  • Climate Action
  • How Things Work
  • Myths Busted
  • Science and Me
  • Science Heroes
  • Science in Space
  • Science on the Farm
  • Healing the Body

You can dress up, draw, demonstrate, experiment, build, use Lego, virtually recruit your friends (how can you use technology to make a video with your friends?) or get your family involved in your story. Be creative!
