On Friday 24th of March we held our whole school wellbeing day as part of our ongoing work to promote positive mental health and wellbeing among pupils and staff. Although it was a wet day, we didn’t let it dampen our spirits and moved back tables and chairs in the classrooms to make space available to enjoy acitivities including yoga, board games, art activities and music sessions including musical chairs! All classes took part in some football acivities in the school hall with Mr. Shevlin. Everyone enjoyed a healthy lunch with a great selection of foods from fruit, cheeses, yoghurts, homemade bread, vegetables and crackers organised by Ms. Coyle.
It was also national Daffodil Day and families were very generous in supporting this very worthy cause with €298 raised. Thank you to Evelyn Curley who organised the daffodil badges, posters and Easter eggs for a raffle in each classroom. We hope all pupils enjoyed the day. Take a look at some photos below.
