Our annual Christmas concert took place on Friday 13th of December with a great audience in the hall to watch all the performances
- Orla Wynn prepared the music with all pupils from 1st – 6th class which included Good King Wenceslas, Happy Christmas – War is Over and Jingle Bell Rock
- Gráinne Nolan prepared Don’t Stop Me Now from Peace Proms 2020 with all pupils from 1st – 6th class
- Infants & 1st class performed Everyone Loves a Baby
- 2nd & 3rd classes performed Super Star
- 4th, 5th & 6th classes performed Cinderella & Rockerfella
The Parents Association organised sound with Joe Cunniffe for the stage which greatly enhanced all performances which were also streamed live to a classroom by Castle Studio videos, with a door prize & raffle with lots of great spot prizes on the night. Glinsk Pioneer Association purchased stage lighting which they kindly installed in the school hall for all future drama productions. The lighting was a great addition to the performances and the school are very grateful to Glinsk Pioneer Association for the lighting. A visit from Santa with a treat for all children was well very well received and pupils were delighted to have a chat with him. Thank you to the Parents Association, parents, grandparents, families & the wider community for all their help, support & involvement on the night.
Well done to all pupils who gave great performances on stage throughout the night. Funds raised on the night will go towards additional playground equipment. The Parents Association kindly made a presentation to Ms. Helen Grace in recognition of her work in the senior classroom during the past 3 months. Take a look at some photos below.
