Lee Hegarty’s painting “2030: no bricks, living in the hills” caught the attention of the judges and has been awarded a Special Commendation certificate in the Sightsavers Junior Painter awards.
From a field of over 5,000 entries nationwide, there were only 15 regional winners and 20 certificates of commendation, Lee is one of the 35 most promising young artists in Ireland.
