All classes made St. Brigid’s crosses keeping an important tradition alive. Pupils from 5th & 6th class long with Mr. Shevlin helped all other classes to make a cross. Pupils also learned about Brigid’s life, her care for the poor and her magic cloak. We talked about how people like to keep a cross in their home or in the sheds to protect the animals.
