On Tuesday 25th of October all pupils in Junior and Senior Infants attended the Monster Music Improv show at Roscommon Arts Centre. Through music and drawings the talented Shane, Lauren and Patrick brought the familiar characters of the Gruffalo and Incy Wincy Spider to life right before our eyes.  The children were enthralled by the musical and visual feast, clapping their hands to the beat of ‘David the Monster Drum’ and singing along to the Purple People Eater song.  Towards the end of the show, we were given an opportunity to create our very own monster and the children offered their own suggestions of monster sounds which were recorded are then replayed with backing music.  All the children agreed that it was a brilliant show and it was the perfect way to start our week of Halloween activities.
