The theme for Catholic School’s Week this year is “Caring for our Common Home” with a different focus for each day of the week. On Wednesday we celebrated the joy and happiness that grandparents bring to our lives. Pupils drew pictures and wrote about what their grandparents mean to them, with many common words and thoughts appearing among them such as kind, caring, loving and not to forget the treats they give!
Fr. Larry blessed all grandparents, pupils and parents at the prayer service and the school choir had prepared the aptly suitable hymn Lay Your Hands from the new Grow in Love programme.
