As an acknowledgement of the success’ of the girls GAA team, Cumann  na mBunscoil and INTO invited the school to put forward one pupil to play in the half time GO Games exhibition match scheduled for half time on Semi Final Sunday.

Emma from 6th class was picked to play. On August 12th, she went to Croke Park with her parents where she received her kit. Monaghan and Tyrone were playing. The half time exhibition proved an entertaining affair, with Emma playing in the Monaghan Colours. Wearing Jersey number 6, she played in goal initially before moving outfield. She ended her day with a point underneath Hill 16. Congratulations to Emma and her family on this memorable occasion.
