All school must have a Bí Cineálta policy in place for September 2025. The Bí Cineálta policy, meaning “Be Kind” is a set of procedures developed by the Department of Education to prevent and address bullying in schools. It emphasizes a child-rights-based approach and a collaborative effort from all school community members. The policy will be fully implemented in the 2025/2026 school year.
