As part of World Book Day (or week!), author and illustrator, Oisín McGann paid a visit to our school. He has written many books and is especially well known for his “Mad Grandad” series of children’s books as well as illustrating books for Headbomz (ISPCC) and The Accidental Adventures of Onion O’ Brien by JAson Byrne.
Oisín spend an hour or so in each classroom, talking about his work as an outhor and illustrator, his books and characters. He answered lots of questions from the pupils and drew a caricature for each class.
