Pupils from 1st – 6th class went to Shannon River Adventure Centre on their school tour. Pupils completed land based and water based activities throughout the day. Water based activities included kayaking, pier jumping and the very popular mud slide! Pupils from 1st & 2nd went on a canoeing trip out on the lovely river Shannon and the breeze was lovely given the heat of the day.
Land based activities included rock climbing, obstacle courses, archery, team puzzle problem solving, tug of war and the simple but very fun screaming race! Pupils were very ambitious on the climbing wall trying to scale the races of the wall with differing degrees of difficulty. Pupils in 1st & 2nd class had toasted marshmallows at the end of the day.
