Oíche Shamhna

Pupils carved pumpkins for Halloween with pupils in the senior room helping the younger classes. At first some of the infants were a little bit apprehensive about scooping out the pumpkins as the insides looked a bit slimy but they soon got stuck in! There were lots of different faces from happy to scary and a few opted for their own initials or their favourite football team. There was a very creative design with one pumpkin looking like it had just eaten somebody with just the leg left!

Pupils and staff dressed up on the final day with a great variety of creative costumes and fantastic face paint. We played some traditional Halloween games in the hall. Take a look at some photos below.
